Here is the latest information regarding school next week. This is filled with logistical information in a simple and, hopefully, concise fashion. If you could review this information with your child or children, that would be great! Thank you for your assistance to have everyone on the same page. Our first day is Tuesday, September 1st. We have school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. No school on Friday. Bus Schedules is attached to this email. We will post at the stores, too. Please be at your spot about 5 minutes early and please know that we are working hard in the first few days a little bit slower at dismissal time to make sure everyone knows where they are going. Please be patient with us. Please call or email the office before 2:00 to let us know those plans. Last minute calls are stressful for kids so help us out by making those arrangements early. First boat is the 8:00 - and they are prompt! Drop off time this year is: 8:20 with school starting at 8:40 a.m. Staff supervision starts at 8:20 a.m. so please do not drop off earlier than this time. K-5 Students need to stay on the tar until one of their teachers comes out to this area. Late arrival is considered 8:41 a.m. so please check in with the office if that happens to you. We are on a block schedule and use colors to designate days. We start with a Gray day. 8:40 a.m. - 9:00 We will be meeting as a whole school in the gym at 8:35 a.m. after the second bus arrives from the ferry. We will welcome and introduce everyone, outline some new schedule adjustments and send the K-5 students on their way. The 6th - 12th grade will get more schedule information and then be sent to their first period class. From 9:00 on, the students will continue with a regular day.
