Sunday, May 1st, at 3:00pm, in the ICS library, everyone is invited to attend Poetry Alive, a performance showcasing the poetry of ICS students published in the Island Reader, an annual anthology which contains work by Maine's midcoast island writers and artists.The event is being coordinated by the Children's Theater program, the Island Reader, and Melissa Olson of the ICS library. It honors the student poets and the ongoing efforts of ICS teachers and administrators who value, support and promote the literary and performing arts.
